As someone specializing in Residential Design, I feel that experience is of utmost importance in order to provide my clients with the plans they need to insure their project comes together the way they envisioned.

The construction industry varies widely and provides numerous opportunities for an individidual to become experienced in many aspects of the industry. I have taken advantage of this opportunity and began my career by actually working in the field for a general contractor building custom homes from the ground up. My career then took me into the office, where I began drawing plans for a structural engineer. During my 4 1/2 years in this position as CAD Manager I worked on numerous projects, varying from large commercial buildings to custom residential homes.

In addition to my experience in the field I also earned an AA degree in Architectural Graphics from Yavapai College in Prescott Arizona. As a nationally recognized program all emphasis is placed on designing custom residential homes. Each year one plan is selected from the student's designs to be built by those in the Construction Technology program. It was an honor to have my design selected for construction not once, but twice. The design for the second year was part of the program that received top honors in the 2004 National Association of Home Builder's Green Building Award.
